Published Friday, August 20th 2021 - Updated Friday, August 20th 2021- Effective Friday, September 3, 2021, the Bahamian Government has advised that cruise ships will only be permitted to enter a Bahamian port, including private destinations, if all passengers 12 years of age and older are fully vaccinated. To be considered fully vaccinated, guests must have received the final dose of an FDA or WHO-authorized vaccine no less than 14 days prior to embarking the cruise ship. This requirement remains in effect until November 1, 2021, unless rescinded sooner.
- To comply with this requirement, all guests ages 12 years and older must provide documentation of full vaccination at the terminal before boarding.
- Other protocols, including our testing protocols, remain unchanged. All guests ages 2 years and older – regardless of vaccination status - are required to take a COVID-19 test (PCR or Antigen) with an accredited test provider, such as a drugstore chain or diagnostic lab. Guests must present their negative test result for COVID-19 at embarkation which must be taken no more than three days before their ship's departure date.
- Guests under the age of 12 years are not required to be vaccinated, but will be subject to our COVID-19 testing policy and other protocols.
