Highgate Hawaii Hotel Company recently announced that it will soon require full vaccinations for all employees, guests and patrons.

Starting October 15, Alohilani Resort Waikiki BeachAston Waikiki Beach Resort and Park Shore Waikiki will be the first in Hawaii to require proof of full vaccination for all employees, guests and patrons. All guests 12 years and older must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination upon check-in.

Guests without proof of vaccination will not be allowed to check-in. Guests who arrive prior to October 15 and stay through Oct.15 are exempt.

If not fully vaccinated, guests can choose to:
  • Postpone their trip – subject to availability
  • Cancel, and subject to the hotel cancellation policy
The new policy is administered by the hotel in an effort to ensure a safe, clean and inviting environment, and is subject to change without notice. Other travel requirements are still in effect, including the latest regulation to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 taken 48 hours to go to restaurants, bars, fitness centers, museums, etc. For more information, please refer to the State of Hawaii COVID-19 Portal.
