Royal Caribbean New Safety Protocols
Published Saturday, July 31st 2021 - Updated Saturday, July 31st 2021As an added measure to ensure the safety of everyone onboard, we are updating our testing requirements as follows:
For all sailings 5-nights or longer departing from U.S. homeports between July 31 – August 31, 2021, all guests age 2 years and older, regardless of vaccine status, are required to complete a COVID-19 test no more than 3 days prior to the sail date and present proof of negative results at the terminal upon check-in. The type of pre-arrival COVID-19 test administered is flexible in that either an antigen or PCR test is accepted. Guests must arrange this test at their own expense.
Note: All other testing requirements and policies remain unchanged.
Booked guest onboard OY 7/31 and SR 8/2 received a notification of this new requirement at 4:00pm EDT yesterday. Booked guests confirmed on all other qualifying sailings in August will be advised of this update today via email. Updates to the FAQs and the Healthy Cruising hub are in progress.
As always, we will continue to monitor public health circumstances as they evolve and make necessary adjustments to our protocols.
